Graphic Design | Print Design | Retouching | Art Direction

Growing up in the blue collar suburb of Detroit, “good design” wasn’t on the forefront of our local community or family lifestyle. Due to this environment, I was drawn into the counterculture and mystery that design offered. From painting and drawing animals as a child, to creating original collages and magazines as a teenager, the diversity of design formats captured my imagination and passion. I began feeling emotionally moved by good design in a way that a powerful story might, like East of Eden, Shawshank Redemption or Clueless.

I followed design down the rabbit hole and it led me to pursue a BA in Graphic Design and an interest and photography, facilitating an opportunity to develop my skills and explore different mediums. Like many artists, I draw inspiration from the beauty of the natural world. I find this world to be an endless source of motivation and wonder. Similarly, my personal aesthetic is clean and minimal in nature, while my disciplines are multiple, with a focus on graphic design, print design, photography and retouching.
